Kindergarten
Kindergarten should be the most wonderful year a child can have. Our program will help your child grow in many ways - physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
Our full-day kindergarten program continues the balanced approach begun in preschool with most teacher-directed instruction occurring in the morning and more play child-directed instruction planned for the afternoon. Our reading program is Scott Foresman and includes strong phonics and high quality literature in the form of Big Books and mini guided reading emergent readers. The math program McGraw-Hill begun in preschool with manipulatives, songs, chants, and Big Book math stories continues in kindergarten with the addition of a workbook that builds skills.
