Tuition & Fees
The prompt and regular payment of tuition and fees is vital to the operation of Pope John XXIII School. Tuition may be paid on a yearly, quarterly, or monthly basis, as determined by the parents/guardians at time of enrollment.
$65.00 is deducted from the yearly tuition costs when the yearly tuition is paid in full by the first day of school. When paying in full, the $ 41.00 FACTS fee is also waived. Together, this is a potential savings of $ 106.00 for families who pay their tuition in full by the first day school.
Quarterly tuition payments are due August 1st, October 1st, January 1st, and April 1st. Monthly tuition payments are due the first of each month with the first tuition payment due August 1st and the last tuition payment due May 1st.
Pope John XXIII families have the option of adding the $ 350.00 raffle fundraiser fee to their tuition payments and dividing the $ 350.00 over the number of tuition payments. Please notify the office if you wish to add the $ 350.00 raffle fee to your monthly tuition payments. You can also indicate on the new school year contract that you will either pay the $ 350.00 raffle fee in full by October 15th, or add it to your tuition payments.
FACTS will mail your family an invoice based upon your payment schedule. Tuition payments are made to FACTS by check, credit card, or through online payments or automatic deductions from your bank account. Please indicate your FACTS agreement number on your payment. Tuition payments are sent to FACTS and will not be accepted in the school office. Please mail your payments to FACTS at:

Tuition rates for the new school year will be posted after March 1st. Please call the Pope John XXIII Office at (847) 475-5678 for current tuition rates.
Registration fees for the next school year should be paid by March 1st to provide for adequate staff planning and contract deadlines. The registration fee for the new school year is $ 150.00 per child for children in grades K – 8, and $ 75.00 for children who will attend our preschool. When the K – 8 grade registration fee is paid by March 1st, a $ 50.00 discount is given, and the registration fee is then $ 100.00 per child. When the preschool registration fee is paid by March 1st, a $ 25.00 discount is given, and the registration fee is then $ 50.00 per child.
Non-payment of financial obligations could result in the exclusion of a child from school; however, every attempt is made to avoid this. Report cards, tests results, memory books, and portfolios will be withheld if an account is delinquent. No registration fee will be accepted for the new school year when an account is delinquent, but will first be applied to tuition and past due financial obligations.
The “ $pirit Gala” Fundraiser fee is $ 200.00 per family. This fee will be waived when you purchase two tickets to the Spring Fundraiser event at $ 85.00 each.

Reduced Tuition Rates for Parishioners
Reduced tuition rates for students at Pope John XXIII School, are available to parents who are members of St. Mary's or St. Nicholas parishes.
Requisites for Parishioner Status:
- Regular and consistent participation in Sunday Mass throughout the year.
- Regular and consistent use of church offering envelopes throughout the year.
- Participation in parish life, e.g. activities, ministries, organizations, individual sharing of time and talents.
We the pastors of St. Mary's and St. Nicholas Parishes establish these requisites out of concern for our faith communities and for Pope John XXIII School. Regular participation in Sunday Mass and consistent support for our parishes through participation in the life of the parish and through financial contributions are ordinary expectations of parish members. As pastors, if we ask for anything less, we cannot fulfill our stewardship responsibilities to the parishes that support our school.
The finance councils of our parishes have set as a goal for school families a $15.00 weekly contribution. Because of individual family financial circumstances, the amount may vary. Please feel free at any time to discuss this with your pastor.
New school families must meet with their pastor before the school will be notified of their parishioner status.
Sincerely,
Rev. Greg Sakowicz and Rev. William Tkachuk
Continued Parishioner Status
Members of St. Nicholas and St. Mary’s Parishes are granted the parishioner tuition rate as long as they remain active members of their parish. This is determined by the pastors by regular attendance at church and through the use of church envelopes.
The pastors will regularly review each parish family’s fulfillment of the requisites for continued parishioner status.
